Food is all about people. Food is maybe the only universal thing that really has the power to bring everyone together.” — Chef Guy Fieri
Checked in early this week with my girlfriend on her Super Bowl menu. She had already discussed with her husband and had determined what she was preparing. She also shared a chicken wing recipe with me that she made last year. Hmmm… Never made chicken wings before. We also chatted about nachos and other Super Bowl foods.
After considering all the options, I decided on the wings and dips. Ingredients ready and getting prepped to make dips, I paused to ask the robot for recipe revisions using my homemade yogurt. Then I took the wing recipe and asked the robot to Kenji-fy it. Kenji being a chef I am following these days.
Very happy with the dips, cut up the carrots and celery this morning and had to add Korean radish pickles that I made yesterday. Wings have been tossed and have been in the fridge on a wire rack overnight. Can’t wait to see how this turns out!
Grateful this morning for
my girl, Marvelous Mary,
chefs that inspire – J. Kenji Lopez-Alt is truly awesome,
and for the robot’s contributions!
