Played more rounds of golf this week than usual.
Warmer temperatures contributed to getting us out on the course.
First 2 rounds of the week were competitive, $$ on the line…
And then the moment when emotion entered. UGH!
Took a couple of holes to release the emotion and return to the Zen of Golf.
No emotion, no thoughts, me with my club and the ball. Why is this so hard to do consistently?!?
Today’s round was not for $$. Incredible clouds and a beautiful day…
I felt great. And then every swing was hurried. Darn!
Took 5 holes before I could slow it down. Too late at that point for a decent score.
Grateful today for
all the opportunities I’ve had to golf,
the exhilarating moments and humility experienced,
and for MAO who always cheers me on.
