Immediately back into project details,
communications and working life.
Grateful today for
the help of Chris – loved that he can remote in and get me printer drivers etc…
a new machine to keep my work and personal digital worlds separate,
and for the team that works together to get our projects done.
Awake early and outside taking in the stillness of Meech Lake… Helicopter flies overhead and a CTV vehicle drives by? The news of the morning – search and rescue teams found 4 lost in the woods. A day of rest, some reading, some teching and a complete hexaflexagon!! Delicious gourmet…
The phones are again not working. Yesterday’s fix was temporary. A call to Bell and the repair man will be here tomorrow in the am. Still, an awe for technology… The wonders that are dreamt of, created…continually improving and breaking down… Perhaps my awe is really for the capabilities, talents…
On a birthday / party high since last week’s school reunion… Thought today would be a return to ‘normal’… Seems the birthday celebrations carry on… Grateful today for an afternoon reading my text books, and for a birthday dinner with Uncle Stu.
