A busy morning…
Work to do before heading out for an afternoon at the hospital.
Snow falls as we have our departmental meetings.
Meeting ends 1/2 hour earlier than expected.
1 hour and 1/2 to get to the highway (usually 3 minutes)
and another hour and 1/2 to get home.
Grateful today for
completing our departmental meetings,
conversation in the car with our designer – distracting me from the traffic,
and for finally making it home.

Started the day with organizing my papers, texts and notes. A spontaneous lunch with the exuberant one leads to a spontaneous play date. Amazed at parallels in our lives… Later, uncle Stu stops in and we share an evening of fun, laughter, and a batch of hummus is made together….
