A spontaneous Friday afternoon hangout with the exuberant one – always a treat to share time together.
The evening is spent at the Harbourfront Centre – skating by the lake and under the CN tower. Wonderful to get on skates after a few decades, and especially precious to skate with the young Michael and share in his excitement.
Grateful today for
crisp winter air – perfect for skating,
the delight and enthusiasm that Michael shared with us,
and my first hot chocolate this winter – Yum!
A busy Monday… Yoga, followed by lunch with my mate and a 2-hr working session. The rest of the afternoon is spent on my current online MOOC at Coursera. Late afternoon – a text comes in…the cosmics are back in town! A text invitation to dinner is accepted… And so…
The morning rays of sunshine decorate the walls. The sun is warm today and winter’s end seems near. Grateful today for good news on electrical + plumbing at Wellington, lunch with Maria and the warm sun today.
Being at Wellington is still fresh… we have not yet settled into a routine. A new routine trial today – gym in the morning, walk to Kensington market to pick up a few ingredients for tonight’s spicy vegetarian chili and gluten free cornbread… Chili was spicy and tasty. Cornbread…too crumbly…
