Woke up late this morning – slightly confused and still jet lagged…
Missed breakfast and went for a coffee and croissant instead.
After a trip to Hanalei Bay – to pick up a few essentials,
an afternoon on the beach was perfect.
And sunset sublime.

Sad news today. Cousin Tom passed on last night. I can hardly believe it is true. Grateful today for memories of Tom, and all the care, advice and love he gave me. Thank you Tom for helping me through my teenaged angst. Rest in peace, Tom.
Since we arrived, we have carried around bananas, looking for an encounter… When we least expect it, 20 monkeys appear in the yard! Grateful today for the sunset at Surfside, friends who reveal their superhero capes when a helping hand is needed, and night time snuggles.
