A snowy storm coming to Toronto…
Perhaps we will be snowed in tomorrow? Wouldn’t mind a snow day…
Today’s class on how the food industry has gotten to where it is today,
moments with our sprouts continuing to grow,
and research on 3D bioprinting… do we really want 3D printed meat??!?
Perhaps not the best scenario for my mate to return home to…
Cosy and warm at Wellington,
with my mate and uncle stu…
nourished by a home cooked meal,
and watching House of Cards…
It is easy to curse industry / government for all that ails in agri-business,
and easy to forget about the games people play in the highest of places.
Looking at it from different perspectives, dots do connect without anyone really left to blame.
My mate listens to my thoughts,
and provides great insight…
the best we can do is to understand, inform others in the right venues, and bring positivity to it all.
Grateful today for
our growing sprouts,
snowy nights that keep us indoors,
and for my mate’s wisdom.
