Snowed in at NOTL at a cosy B+B.
Snowed in today,
such a treat to have my mate at home.
A day of cooking, eating good food and studying,
as the snow continually falls outside.
Grateful today for
the beautiful snowfall outside,
for being warm and cosy indoors,
and for the adorable little sparrows outside.
Started the day with a walk along the beach to breakfast… back to the beach to read, listen to the waves and watch birds flying about. A late afternoon bicycle ride, so fun to ride about in my bathing suit! And back to our room to rest before dinner. Grateful…
A lunch date today at Rawlicious with a classmate. Great to catch up on what the day class has been up to while I was away. And a raw lunch too…a perfect lunch date. Returning home, the upstairs outdoor glass panel has shattered… the joys of home ownership? Grateful today…
An appointment with Rashida after class today. Impossible to describe the session – left the session invigorated, feeling balanced, with a fresh and renewed perspective. The last words she left me with were of an analogy – stages in life – the brook, the waterfall, the river that goes out…
