We have been at Mountain Blessings in Cherry Log, GA for 1 week.
Prior to that, we drove through West Virginia, overnight stop in Morgantown,
then to Charlotte, NC for a couple of nights…
Drove on to Brasselton, GA for a few rounds of golf with Uncle Stu before arriving here.
Settling nicely into the cabin,
enjoying the serenity and quiet of the mountains.
So far, no encounters with the 500 lb bear and her 4 cubs. Whew!
It’s been an emotional week for me.
Loving the new environment we are in, always up for new adventures,
and realizing how far we are from our known world…
The Elven Queen once told me that change has its stages.
I’m often not prepared for all the stages…
Possibly too rushed to notice?
Grateful today for
the miles we have travelled without incident,
all our friends and family who love and inspire us,
and for MAO. Thank you for taking me on this grand adventure with you.
