Malgretoute

saBEE, 28 Dec ’1130 Dec ’11

On our morning walk, we pass the baby goats learning to climb steep inclines while being head butted by mama!
An amazing moment to observe…

Back to Myer’s bridge after the walk – ‘come back tomorrow at 11’…
Still, we manage to get a bag of tomatoes, and a st lucian yam.

For lunch, we set out for Harmony Bay.
The Senior’s Home, damaged by last year’s hurricane is abandoned, cows graze on the grasses and empty wheel chairs lie about the grounds.

The restaurant at Harmony Bay seems closed…sigh…plan B.
Martha’s tables.
An incredible creole lunch made by Martha, conversing with Martha as we have our lunch we are updated on the current situation in Malgretoute…Not the happiest of stories.

After lunch, an incredible swim at Harmony, a chat with Tobias and Valencia and a stop at Zaka’s studio before heading home for the sunset.

Grateful today for
all our wonderful times at Malgretoute,
people who share their lives with strangers,
and for all that is in Malgretoute.
