Lost Together

On the road to Cape Breton Island and the Cabot Trail…
GPS destination to town with the same name as the county takes us a few hours away from our destination.
To this lunch view and the best fish and chips ever.

Destination sorted out, we arrive at Liscombe Lodge.
An adorable cottage on the river is home for the next 2 nights.
Loving the sounds of the river and the babbling brook that runs by the cottage…

Grateful today for
Getting over getting lost quickly,
the unexpected and delightful place we ended up in,
and for the synchronicity of Blue Rodeo singing “We are Lost Together” as we drove to the lodge.
