In catching up on my posts – today was lost.
Between the 4 of us at Huron, none were able to remember what had happened today.
The only thing for certain is the photograph taken in the morning at my Imac station.
Grateful today for
the beautiful morning sunlight in the living room,
our garden of plants,
and for memories from photographs.
An early start today. From the funeral home to the church, The church to the cemetery and then back to the home. So many friends – neighbourhood pals, envisioneers, and cottage pals… Family members flying and driving in from the west and east coasts… All coming together to cry, hug…
A morning trip to the Farmers’ market in Chelsea, more yummies for us… Cookies, Scrabble and Balderdashing on the dock, capernoited and maffled… and an evening sunset canoe ride. A perfect summer day… Grateful today for the beautiful lake Glimmermere, and relaxed, lazy, loungy summer days.
Our morning walk today is down the Sulphur Springs hill, by the baby goats with mama. As we walk up towards Hermitage Hill, the blessings pour down. A brief moment of shelter under a tree and then up the hill to dry off. We head out to Chastenet – boys…
