Our walking about in Trieste starts early.
First stop a lovely boutique where all the ladies find great items.
Coffee, spritzers and beer in the square and then on to the markets.
Traditional Italian lunch at Mama Rosa’s – a wonderful meal surrounded by the locals of Trieste.
En route back to the ship, my mate discovers a gallery by the port.
Grateful today for
a full day of shopping, food, art and culture,
wonderful travel companions,
and for the glorious weather.
Fueled by the juice truck outside the hotel, I am ready to enjoy the beautiful day and walk down to Union Square. Always so many interesting sights, sounds and people on my walks. At Union Square, I meet Stevie for lunch and an afternoon of wandering about together. Super fun…
At the heliopolis – morning to noon. Breakfast of fresh fruit and coffees at 1664. Successful shopping and then to the beach. The sun is out in full force, the breeze and sea so refreshing. Grateful today for my mate’s wisdom to rest yesterday, feeling recharged and ready for action…
