Pinus Densiflora

After breakfast this morning, we set out for the temple – a 5 minute walk away.
The temple walk takes us into Seoraksan National Park.
A giant Buddha at the start of the park,
beautiful temples and a hike up to a temple in a cave.

A beautiful trail in a stunning park.
Impossible not to fall in love with the beautiful Pinus Densiflora!
So wonderful to see spring water streaming down and people drinking from the streams.

At the end of our walk, we have a brief rest at the hotel before Matthew and his family arrive.
Cocktails on the terrace and then dinner in the town at the fish market.
Sea urchin was so fresh, their needles were still moving about…

Grateful today for
experiencing the incredible beauty of the park and temples,
the cool stream water to refresh us and cool us down on our walk,
and for a wonderful dinner out with Matthew and his family – delighted to meet his wife and children!

Irresistible sunny blue skies got me out with my camera today. Surprised by the number of cranes in the neighbourhood – think I counted 9! Most exciting to see the cranes that are building the Ripley’s Aquarium. By afternoon, the sunny skies turned gray and snow began to fall. Adventures…
