Off to the community garden this afternoon, in the hopes of getting a plot…
Got a plot! Thrilled to know I can attempt to grow vegetables this season!
Celebrations started right away and very exuberantly.
After a bite of lunch,
and a brief nap – a rare thing for me –
although much needed to make it to tonight’s birthday celebrations.
In the evening,
a lively fun birthday party.
Great to see faces not seen for much too long.
Grateful today for
Toronto – community gardens downtown, friends and great neighbourhoods.
