Locked in…

saBEE, 2 Oct ’139 Jan ’26

Almost 2 years since my iphone went crashing down on the garage floor at Huron.
Lucked out today – no wait for the iphone 5S and picked up the last one they had.
An hour and a half later, old and new phone are completely synced AND I have 30+ GB free.

I had considered switching mobile OS and device.
Lusted after the photo capabilities on the Microsoft 8 / Nokia phones,
inner geek wanted to get at Android…
In the end, I feel a bit locked in.

The apps, and syncing of phones with itunes is so easy, it’s hard to change.
To start again – all new apps – some of my favorite apps are unavailable on other mobile OS…
Nope – time to be okay with being locked in…

Grateful today for
our neighborhood Telus retail location – thanks for making it a smooth transaction,
a new phone that so far behaves a lot better than my old cracked one,
and for okay with being locked in…so far it’s only with apple and amazon…
