An 86th birthday lunch for Ma Hayes,
shared with family and neighbours.
After a brief stop at home,
we go for a drive into the sunset…
to V+J’s engagement party.
Grateful today for
the invitations to share in life events,
social gatherings that surround life events,
and for being there to experience the shared celebrations.
A stunningly beautiful day! The wispy clouds this morning were mesmerizing… So delighted by the perfect weather. An impromptu late morning coffee with Paula in the courtyard, an afternoon hanging out in the window (such beautiful breezes), and a spontaneous visit from Pa Hayes after his GE dinner downtown. Pressure on today… Engage is presenting to Envision – a tough, experienced and discerning audience. Pressure is felt through the slightest of difference in opinion… Throughout the day, worked on the presentation and refined it… Prepared handout materials, and then it was time. Felt strong and confident during my presentation……
