Without music, life would be a mistake. – Friedrich Nietzsche
There is a lot to do. Unpacking, sorting, setting up a home. An air mattress is waiting for us at the end of it. And yet, on our very first night in our Stratford home, we are heading out to a concert.
Half Moon, Half Crazy is by Michael Louis Johnson, who we’ve had the pleasure of seeing many times at the Communist Daughter in Toronto. Tonight in his Stratford home, with Jack Wyndham at the piano, it was an intimate and wonderful night. A lovely bonus – running into Toronto acquaintances through Maylee at the show.
What a way to spend a first night in our new town.
Grateful for a full day’s work at the house, for a great night of live music, and for our new home in Stratford. Looking forward to experiencing so much more of the live shows and talent here.
