After a lovely breakfast at the hotel,
my mate and I wander the streets of Guidecca.
A beautiful, quiet place with old and new architecture…
and without the crowds that we hear are in Venice.
By noon, our friends arrive and check into the hotel.
A leisurely walk to a recommended restaurant,
followed by a leisurely lunch by the waterside.
Grateful today for
the beautiful sights seen today,
and the fun conversation and times shared with our travel mates.
