Not sure how long we have been travelling…
After the delays in Toronto and missing the connection in Frankfurt,
it has been a long trip.
Finally at the airport in Venice!
Water taxi is a wild way to get to our hotel.
Arriving at the hotel, we find our travel mates in the lobby.
Cocktails at the roof top bar
and a lovely dinner in a backyard filled with jasmine.
A perfect end to the day.
Grateful today for
a safe arrival in Venice.
A special evening out – at the top of the city… Dinner with guest from Miami at Canoe, followed by a drink at the top of the Thompson hotel. The Miami style design of the Thompson made our guest feel right at home. A great evening catching up, sharing food…
All seems restored today. Rains throughout the day, more sunshine today… The day is spent at the Terrace and down the street. A massage in the morning and a sunset cocktail in the evening. Luxurious lounging… Grateful today for relief in my neck and shoulders – can’t believe how knotty…
