Not sure how long we have been travelling…
After the delays in Toronto and missing the connection in Frankfurt,
it has been a long trip.
Finally at the airport in Venice!
Water taxi is a wild way to get to our hotel.
Arriving at the hotel, we find our travel mates in the lobby.
Cocktails at the roof top bar
and a lovely dinner in a backyard filled with jasmine.
A perfect end to the day.
Grateful today for
a safe arrival in Venice.
Our last day in New Orleans… It’s been a fabulously fun time. The mix of music, nature, laughter and even the supernatural – who could ask for anything more?! Happy to have experienced more of NOLA than previous trips, and loved Michael Weintrob’s Instrumenthead… Grateful today for America – so…
Since we arrived, we have carried around bananas, looking for an encounter… When we least expect it, 20 monkeys appear in the yard! Grateful today for the sunset at Surfside, friends who reveal their superhero capes when a helping hand is needed, and night time snuggles.
The names we have encountered in St Lucia… Griselda, Isadore, Titus, and Acadia, Jorge, Rashida, Tobias and Valencia… Our friends we see daily – MaryJane, Patricia, Martha, Ferrard and Feranes. All lovely people who call St Lucia home, from Soufriere, Choiseul, Canaries and Anse La Raye. A beautiful and sunny…
