Starting to feel like we’re living on a boat!
A planned boat day changes with the weather – all the showers of blessings not the best weather for boating…
The day is a lazy one at home – wonderful meals, puzzling, games of chess and reading…
Grateful today for
boys getting the bbq going today,
friends to lazily hang out with,
and for blessings in St Lucia – thank you for also all the rainbows that follow.
After our daily walk, and leisurely breakfast of Fritatta + chorizo, we go to Harmony Beach. Waters too murky to see the fishes, makes it a hang out day on the beach. A visit from Simon + Aimelee Scott joins the local boys in their soccer game on the beach…
After breakfast, boys head out golfing… and girls walk to Loews for a beach/cabana and spa day. A lovely girls’ afternoon before our evening out. Our dinner is a feast of stone crab and seafood, followed by a walk home along Ocean Drive. Not too late a night, we are…
Somehow when planning this trip, tonight’s accommodations were forgotten… Last night, we called a few places… a busy time in Cape Breton – all booked up. One phone call led us to a cancelled reservation. Booked at The Glenora Inn + Distillery, Couldn’t have planned it any better! Grateful today…
