In the many times we have been here, this has been the wettest.
Daily rains followed by sunshine throughout the day.
Night time rains are torrential for a minute and then calmer.
The plants around the Terrace are lush and beautiful – so many shades of green.
Truly stunning.
Grateful today for
the amazing greenery that surrounds us,
the rains that nurture the soil,
and for all the life that lives and grows in the rain forest.
As we watch the birds have their breakfast, the snow is melting. Chickadees, Finches, Sparrows, Red-Bellied Woodpeckers, Cardinals and Blue Jays too! A lovely walk after breakfast before we drive back to the big smoke. A perfect Sunday… Grateful today for the beautiful birds, relaxed Sunday mornings, and wonderful weekends…
