Perhaps I shouldn’t have started my day with this news story,
and TEDtalk…
While I got some studying for tomorrow’s test done,
by afternoon, I was feeling down and unmotivated.
Rationalizing that I have been studying way too much lately,
decided it was okay to be lazy and fell into a few episodes of my current k-drama…
Happy when my mate returned home,
unfortunately, I was still spiralling downward in negativity.
Grateful today for
the light under the stairs,
for the patience and understanding of my mate,
and for his helping me out of my downward spiral.
