…and more packing to do.
In the midst of packing, I come across notes that my mate and I wrote to each other…scraps of paper with hearts and love. I travelled through time reading each note, remembering different times and adventures – all experienced together with love.
Picked up an email from my mate…an invitation to go to New York with him…
Grateful today for
my mate,
the love we share,
and all the incredible adventures we have had.
A drive through the mountains and across the provincial border to New Denver, BC. Stopping briefly in Kimberley to leave a note for a cousin and then to our cabin. And what a cabin it is! Once we are settled in, we join others at the Domes for dinner together….
Arriving at the Envision Christmas party, we are greeted by 2 lovely carollers singing outside of the restaurant. A joyous and fun event – food is wonderful and the energy is lively. Once the DJ starts, shoes come off and we dance and dance and dance… What a night! Grateful…
Off to the AGO with 4 others to see Frida and Diego. Wonderful to see it with friends who know so much more than I! Afterwards, a lovely brunch at Frank and then off on different paths. Grateful today for our city and the art that is just a walk…
