Returning to Havana,
it is hard to believe that we are returning home tomorrow.
Back in Havana, on the eve of Mother’s Day,
we are taken to our guide’s apartment in Havana
and invited into others’ apartments to take photos and have a rum shot.
Met a group of strangers over a week ago,
through our travels together, they have all become special friends to me.
I am so grateful. What an incredible trip this has been.
In the early morning hours, power was restored. Yay! Christmas storm in mind, we wondered how the rest of the island had fared… Into town for bottles of water, and then to Sugar Beach – for a leisurely lunch. As we dine at the Terrace, back online and looking for…
From Picasso to Lee’s and then to Simcoe. A lovely afternoon, evening and night hanging out with the cosmics. Grateful today for a fun filled Friday, great conversation and lots of laughs, and for added perspectives for seeing Picasso again.
A glorious day. Sailing and snorkeling on a sunny day. I am grateful today to have visited this caterpillar chomping away on his leaf, the school of blue tangs on the reef, and the sand piper running along the beach at night.
