Trinidad, the oldest town in Cuba.
A colonial town with cobblestone roads,
and the most “shopping” I have seen yet.
We spend the early afternoon walking in town and taking photographs.
By 4pm, we are back at the resort
and happy to spend the later afternoon lounging by the pool.
Dinner at the resort and we head back into town –
for music and fun.
Grateful today for
the sights seen today,
a pool to cool down in,
and for the amazing shows we have been watching.
Recent mornings have been with the Frangipani caterpillars. Amazing to watch them move about and eat… And so fun to take photos and video. Our walk down to Sulphur Springs is the event of the day. A hard working and lazy-ish day at the villa. So glad for leftover meals!…
A glorious day. Sailing and snorkeling on a sunny day. I am grateful today to have visited this caterpillar chomping away on his leaf, the school of blue tangs on the reef, and the sand piper running along the beach at night.
After breakfast, we take a walk. Through the pedestrian shopping mall on Lincoln, north to the Holocaust Memorial and then to the Botanical Gardens. Returning just before noon, we settle into our spots on the beach for a relaxing afternoon. Grateful today for the past few days spent with RB,…
