Trinidad, the oldest town in Cuba.
A colonial town with cobblestone roads,
and the most “shopping” I have seen yet.
We spend the early afternoon walking in town and taking photographs.
By 4pm, we are back at the resort
and happy to spend the later afternoon lounging by the pool.
Dinner at the resort and we head back into town –
for music and fun.
Grateful today for
the sights seen today,
a pool to cool down in,
and for the amazing shows we have been watching.
Left Narita on last night. 7 hours later, we arrive in HNL – 19 hour time difference from Japan and it’s Friday afternoon. Crossing time zones is confusing business… Arrived in HNL, cleared security and immigration, and found ourselves a bar to sit and wait for our next flight. Amazing…
A change from the beach, we spend the morning & early afternoon poolside. The weather has been perfect. Blue skies, hot sun and temperatures in the high 80s. Grateful today for quiet and restful reading time, natural doses of vitamin D, and Miami Beach.
