A cosmic weekend with friends comes to an end…
Driving home is easy with no traffic.
Returning home, it is smoking hot.
Watering the garden leaves me soaked in sweat.
Definitely missing the cool waters of Glimmermere!
Grateful today for
a great Meech beach weekend,

and for air conditioning!

At 9am, the thermometer is reading 30C. What an incredibly hot, hot day! To the beach after breakfast, back for beer. Jumping in the water cools us down after sweating in the shade… Grateful today for the warmth and caring of cottage communities, summer hang outs with friends, and cooling…
After breakfast and a walk in the neighbourhood, we are off to Detroit. An easy drive across the border – 20 minutes later, we’re at the DIA. From the DIA, back across to the casino. Back @Moy, a delicious snack and refreshing cocktail, as we play Scrabble in the yard….
