Spontaneous Saturday Soiree

saBEE, 26 Jan ’139 Jan ’26

A morning at school – fundamentals of business…
Returned home in the afternoon to get a few things done –
10 year old inkjet is done.
Off to Rogers to pick up the new replacement – this time a laserjet.
Then to the market for some seeds and things.

At the market I run into sister Anna + Michael. A coffee together and then home,
for a game of Scrabble with my mate.

As we battle it out on the scrabble board,
neighbour Nad comes over for tea.
The evening carries into a quick dinner put together for 3,
dancing to the tunes as dinner is being prepared.

As we catch up, neighbour Nad tells us about a clown in training she met this morning…
and of course, it turns out to be our Huron neighbour!
Really, I shouldn’t be so surprised…still!
Amazed at this incredible coincidence, we can’t help but text him to join us…
So glad he was able to join us!

Grateful today for
a beautiful sunny Saturday – felt like spring thaw,
the wonderful community that Toronto is,
and for our super fun spontaneous saturday soiree.

Our Summer in a hayfield

It’s a funny thing about life, once you begin to take note of the things you are grateful for, you begin to lose sight of the things that you lack.  Germany Kent Summer 2024 started out with 2 AirBnb reservations.  When we realized that the first reservation was not going…
