Just as we arrived last night, the power went out.
Completely dark – we shuffled about with lit candles unloading the car and getting ourselves settled in.
After a lovely candlelit dinner under a starry sky, the power came back…whew!
This morning we awoke to the beautiful site of the Petit Piton.
The day started with group exercise – a walk down the hill ending at Hotel Chocolate for an ice chocolate shot and coffee.
After a sunny afternoon spent at the villa, games of scrabble, reading and relaxing, we have a wonderful dinner with fun conversation.
Grateful today for
the friends we are vacationing with,
the beautiful forest that surrounds us,
and the Piton.
