Awoke this morning to snow on the ground and blowing about.
After a few extra weekend morning snuggles, we got out to the market!
Last November was probably the last time we were at the market – today I was surprised at how a once routine market trip can be forgotten – fortunately, easily and happily remembered.
A few chores done while we are out – more chores at Wellington…
By late afternoon, home is cosy and warm as we start to make our first meal together here.
Initially intended to be an appetizer, we were satisfied with our leek fritters as a meal – super yum!
Grateful today for
the snow on the ground,
our return to the market,
and a cosy, homey day with my precious mate.
