Started the day with a poppy on my jacket…
45 minutes early for an on-site meeting, at the wrong location.
20 minutes later, meeting #1 is underway…
At the end of the day – no breaks for coffee or food,
I make it home… 12 hours after I left.
What a day it has been.
Grateful today for
getting through all the meetings held today,
the NPR caller on satellite radio describing a poppy filled Toronto,
and a quiet moment this morning to remember…
A beautiful sunny Sunday! A glorious day for a walk with my mate in the East Don Parklands. After our walk, we visit with Bill + Pauline. In the evening, we go to a theatre to see the premiere of Puzzleface…the video that my mate and I were in earlier…
A slow going morning prevents me from saying yes to the first invitation to watch hockey… Glad for a second invite and for getting out. A win for Canada! And a 7am reservation for Sunday’s gold game made! On the walk home, the sky is bright and cheery. Friday evening…
A good day in class is followed by an afternoon walking from our old neighbourhood to our current one… So wonderful to come home and see my mate working from home. A late afternoon visit with MM… and then a quiet evening with my mate. Grateful today for incredible warm…
