A 20 min walk to the airport and 2 hours later, I am in New York City.
Checked into my home for the next 5 days,
and then it’s time to walk!
First a visit to Bill Cunningham’s exhibit – Facades.
Then to the Museum of Natural History…Haircut on the way back,
and then it’s time for dinner with S+J! So great to see them!
After dinner, S+J head home and I go to the jazz bar across the street.
Not having any idea who’s playing, I am totally delighted when Hugh Masekela and Larry Willis show up on stage.
A fabulous night of jazz in a beautiful club.
Grateful today for
a great day of culture, walking and fun,
a nice dinner with friends,
and New York City – what a place it is!
