Feeling a bit blah today.
The flip flopping of weather is getting to be challenging.
Needing more natural Vitamin D…
Got through a day of working – thanks to my smiling and encouraging mate,
and in the end, it is a good day.
Grateful today for
all the rain – hoping it means great crops for the farmers,
healthful food in the fridge and freezer for an easily prepared dinner,
and for evening snuggles with my mate.
A morning trip to the Farmers’ market in Chelsea, more yummies for us… Cookies, Scrabble and Balderdashing on the dock, capernoited and maffled… and an evening sunset canoe ride. A perfect summer day… Grateful today for the beautiful lake Glimmermere, and relaxed, lazy, loungy summer days.
Morning walk down to the Sulphur Springs – a beautiful walk in the hills and great exercise. After our walk, a trip into town for some supplies and off to Sugar Beach after lunch. Lovely to see our fish friends again and to watch the wedding happening on the beach….
A late night out with friends, an early breakfast together followed by a lazy day napping and reading The Social Animal: The Hidden Sources of Love, Character and Achievement by David Brooks. Grateful today for a restful Sunday, a lovely dinner at Clareville and fascinating thoughts from David Brooks.
