Halloween Day starts out very rainy and windy.
Fortunately the rain stops and the little ones are able to get their treats.
Picked up a few bags of candy, just in case…
While the Summit towers do not give out candy, perhaps the townhouses get spooky visitors?
Delighted to answer the door – only once tonight,
Still there were at least 6 kids at the door!
Grateful today for
weather for kids to get out trick or treating,
picking up candies,
and for scary movies to watch for Halloween!
Matie is off in the early morning to go golfing. BEE is back from her travels. After a trip to the liberty farmers’ market and dim sum at a new place, we spent the evening out on the boat to watch the sunset and the harvest moon rise. Took two…
The kitchen is busy… A full house for coffee in the morning, sandwiches in the afternoon and burgers stuffed with bacon, onions and cheese for dinner… Grateful today for good food shared with many, conversation and chit chat over meals, and the general merriment at Huron.
Today’s new class… on topics that have infuriated and frustrated me, leaving me not knowing what to do. Governments, Agri-Business and supermarkets…the chase for profits and $$… The combination of it all, had me clenching my fists in class, holding my tongue and wanting to vandalize a local supermarket. Sigh….
