An appointment with Rashida after class today.
Impossible to describe the session –
left the session invigorated, feeling balanced, with a fresh and renewed perspective.
The last words she left me with were of an analogy –
stages in life – the brook, the waterfall, the river that goes out to the sea…
Flow with boundaries.
How curious that these are the last words.
Especially from my perspective – where my formative years were all within others’s boundaries,
followed by years of trying to escape those boundaries to find flow…
Time for integration, and harmony.
