Boarding day.
An easy water taxi to the ship and walk around to familiarize ourselves with our home for the week.
As we sail away all are on the top decks watching as we pass Venice.
Meeting new people, it is amazing to meet someone from California who knows of my high school and even went to the same camp that I worked at. Such a small world.
Grateful today for
a smooth transition on board the ship,
and a lovely stateroom – complete with butler!
Delighted to start the day with a farm to table breakfast at the Seaport Farmer’s Market, before heading out to Peggy’s Cove, Lunenburg and Blue Rocks. Beautiful drive on a perfect summer’s day… Back in Halifax, dinner is K-food, followed by fireworks in the harbour. Another great vacation day… Grateful…
Woke up this morning to another beautiful day at Meech lake. Sad to be leaving…and happy for the time had here. Clean up and then on the road for home. My mate drives us back, conversation in the car mixed in with facebook b-day greetings. 🙂 Arrival back in town…
