Anse ‘Mamay’

Our daily walk has developed into a walk, with pushups at rest points and running up the hill. Bri completed 101 pushups this morning…Scott got to 100 by the end of the day!

After the exercise, we are back at Myers Bridge seeking the incredible St Lucian spinach. No spinach yet…we’re too early today. Happy with the leaf lettuce, eggplant, papaya and more tomatoes…

Time for a swim – back to Anse Chastenet – but this time, a long walk along the beach and past the dock to Anse ‘Mamay’ – as the locals call it… The beach is perfectly shaded with beautiful palms and beautifully taken care of. The snorkelling is wild and wonderful. Can’t believe we never made it here before!!

Dinner and movie tonight – ratatouille – recipe by Alice Waters and Ratatouille by Disney.

Grateful today for
Simon – who told us about Anse Mamin,
our wireless connection – that provided the recipe and the movie,
and for an incredible day on a beautiful beach.
