Our last day in New Orleans…
It’s been a fabulously fun time.
The mix of music, nature, laughter and even the supernatural –
who could ask for anything more?!
Happy to have experienced more of NOLA than previous trips,
and loved Michael Weintrob’s Instrumenthead…
Grateful today for
America – so glad you made that Louisiana purchase,
and Nawlins – for the people, and for all dat jazz.
Friends left the villa today. All through last night, it poured rain. Throughout the day, there were at least 15 downpours of rain. The villa is quiet. Grateful today for all the fun times shared with friends at the villa – the meals made and eaten, Scrabble and chess games…
This morning’s round of golf is only 9 holes… A rainy morning, with spots of sun and the drive to Key West, makes sense to leave after the first 9. Five and 1/2 hours later, we arrive. Checked into our home for the next few days, we head out to…
