An 86th birthday lunch for Ma Hayes,
shared with family and neighbours.
After a brief stop at home,
we go for a drive into the sunset…
to V+J’s engagement party.
Grateful today for
the invitations to share in life events,
social gatherings that surround life events,
and for being there to experience the shared celebrations.
Started the day with organizing my papers, texts and notes. A spontaneous lunch with the exuberant one leads to a spontaneous play date. Amazed at parallels in our lives… Later, uncle Stu stops in and we share an evening of fun, laughter, and a batch of hummus is made together….
Woke up this morning to skylights covered in snow. Drove to school very slowly and patiently… The current class in Allergies is so interesting and fascinating.
