Trinidad, the oldest town in Cuba.
A colonial town with cobblestone roads,
and the most “shopping” I have seen yet.
We spend the early afternoon walking in town and taking photographs.
By 4pm, we are back at the resort
and happy to spend the later afternoon lounging by the pool.
Dinner at the resort and we head back into town –
for music and fun.
Grateful today for
the sights seen today,
a pool to cool down in,
and for the amazing shows we have been watching.
After breakfast, we set out on the JR rail for Mitaka. Tickets purchased in Toronto for a special museum visit. Such a magical time at the Ghibli Museum! Had to hold back the tears of delight and joy… After the museum and a delicious Italian lunch in Mitaka, we return…
An easy travel day back to the 6. Feels good to be home… even with the instant intense energy of the city. A beautiful sunny day at home… Settling back in, and enjoying being home. Grateful today for a great vacation, an easy travel day, and for being home.
