Off to the market early this morning.
We return home with our shopping cart overflowing with farmer’s goodness and flowers in hand.
One hour at the market – 2 hours cleaning and preparing everything for storing…
Back to making a chicken broth…
Nice to have dinner at C+C’s before we go out for some Saturday night fun.
Grateful today for
the great harvests from the farms,
good food to eat,
and a day of lots of raw foods.
Home is warm and cosy on this blustery and rainy gray day. A walk around the corner for fresh Italian bread blows our umbrella inside out. The walk was worth it – my mate makes a delicious breakfast for us. Today we step out of our usual routines and go…
Brunch and a walk in the market, followed by cooking a San Francisco Black Bean Stew… a lovely, lazy Saturday. Grateful today for relaxed Saturdays, and enough ingredients to try the stew again tomorrow…
Glad to see the sun out today. After last night’s festivities – from the Shangri-La to K-BBQ and then the C-Lounge… not totally recovered, the day starts with lots and lots of water… It’s a perfect day to rest, go out for walks with my mate, and enjoy our home….
