The morning is spent cleaning,
organizing paperwork and getting rid of clutter.
Rocket Girl (Mama Song’s new nickname) makes a lovely lunch for Maria and I.

I am distracted by a bench in the shade in Grange Park.
A perfect spot to photograph on a hot + hazy day.
Grateful today for
the liveliness of the city,
my camera,
and the first summer day.
