Returning from the market this morning, a small sparrow sat on the ledge of the kitchen windows. I was reminded of why I started putting seeds out. Not for the squirrels…but for the birds…

Fridge and bar well stocked – Wellington is shiny and clean. A lovely afternoon visit with NeighbourNad, dinner prep all done and ready for new year’s eve with the country mice. As we listen to the randomboys playlist, my mate and I reflect on the past year and are grateful….
