Those Amazing Country Mice!

saBEE, 9 Nov ’1310 Nov ’13

A busy Saturday morning…
Visit to the office to drop off more frozen yummies for the freezer,
a stop at the St Lawrence Farmers’ market followed by a drive east…
Nostalgic breakfast at Mocha Mocha – Yes!!
and then to the Big Carrot for raw nuts and seeds.

Returning home, there is much to do to clean and store our food.
Twomates get it all done and have fun as we clean, store and make veggie broth and a celeriac sweet potato soup.

As the soup simmers, a text arrives from the country mice,
and we are so fortunate to have a spontaneous dinner and evening together!

Grateful today for
all the nutritional goodness in our fridge and pantry,
a delightful and delicious dinner of city mice soup and country mice cabbage salad,
and for those amazing country mice! xxoo
