A week or so ago, I put the end of a head of Romaine into water.
Sunshine from the window and water…
So wonderful to watch the lettuce growing from what would normally have been green bag material.
Growing in the window today –
our romaine lettuce, herbs – oregano, sage, rosemary and thyme,
an avocado pit – looking like it is on the way to opening and
today’s new addition – sunflower and daikon radish sprouts…
Growing upstairs –
a lemon tree from seed, pineapple from the top remains and date palms from date pits…
Grateful today for
nature – a little care and nature just takes over,
the wonder and amazement at watching plants grow,
and for online articles that inspire me to grow more food from what used to be scraps.
