A glass raised… to Huron

saBEE, 11 Dec ’1113 Dec ’11

Friday and Saturday-
hand in hand-
we visited with family – early Christmas visits,
at their homes and Huron too.
A fun evening with the Straws…
Perfect end to a break from packing.

This morning I awoke with a feeling of dread.
Heavy and intense enough for me to communicate it to my mate,
whose vegetable power made sooo much happen today to smooth the way.

Through the day,
my superhero mate and I sorted, packed, bubble wrapped and taped…
Thank you GavRadio!
Could not have gotten through the day without the tunes!!

At the end of the day…
My feeling of dread is gone –
Replaced with wonderful memories, and feelings of love and gratitude.
This is our last night at Huron.
A glass is raised…to all that was at Huron…Thank you.

This morning parking at the market I am the middle person in a chain of “paying the paid parking ticket forward”. The momentary interactions, smiles amongst strangers and observers…So grateful. Today marks one week of stage 1 diet. My mate has been heroic through all the changes. So grateful to…
