Happy Year of the Snake!

saBEE, 10 Feb ’1310 Feb ’13

Woke up this morning, cold still hanging around…
New cleaning lady came in this morning for the first time,
to cover for Maria who recovering from knee surgery.
Change always feels a little strange…

Too beautiful out to stay indoors,
my mate and I wander out to the market.
Picked up some oil of oregano to test it out on my cold,
and had a lovely lunch at King’s Cafe – a perfect lunch for the new year of the snake.

Back at home – shiny and clean,
and feeling fortunate to have friends and family that drop off food at the door!
For dinner, my mate roasts a beautiful chicken with potatoes and carrots.
Wow. A most delicious meal.

Grateful today for
a beautiful sunny winter day,
friends, family and the wonderful web that connects us all,
and for the wonders of oil of oregano! Congestion is all gone and smell is returning. Yes!
