The changing season brings a crisp sunny Sunday. A wonderfully delicious dinner with my Hayes family – prepared with tomatoes and peppers fresh from the garden.
A day filled with small wonders. A walk through the forest, hummingbirds fly overhead as we visit orchids and butterflies. A myriad of foliage and ferns, the shades of green are lush and alive. The forest has been incredible food for my soul.
An athletic morning with a bike ride to Queen’s Park to see the International Drumming Festival. We watch a set or two, have a bite and a leisurely ride home. In the afternoon, friends spontaneously gather to share a glass or two in the sunshine. Summer weekends are wonderful!
